Overview:

Today marks the beginning of the final WNBA Fast Break run of the 2024 regular season. This run will span ten (10) days, which is one day longer than the previous run and will have the same win thresholds (1, 4, & 7). Each team has between 5-7 games during Run 10 with a couple days where every team is in action and a couple days where only two (2) teams are in action. This means your room for error is wider, but planning ahead could be the difference between the 4-win pack and the 7-win pack.

In addition to the extra day during this run, the rewards have expanded. Daily, the top 100 will earn a quick rip pack with the top 50 earning a better iteration. The overall rewards have also improved as the top three overall will earn a legendary pack (valued at $699). It would be in your best interest to play every day you are able in pursuit of the overall rewards while picking your spots if you have any aspirations for the daily reward.

Regardless of which prize you have your eye on, let’s start the series off with a win.

Today’s Objective:

Fast Break Day 1 requires five (5) players who will score 80 or more Points, which means your lineup will need an average of 16.0 PTS per player. There are eight (8) teams in action today, so your options are broad. If you are working with a collection of common WNBA players, you’ll want to be deliberate about who you include in your starting five as you don’t want to waste players unnecessarily, but you also don’t want to get too cute and miss the day’s objective by a couple points.

  • Bucket Getters: A’ja Wilson, Arike Ogunbowale, Napheesa Collier, Rhyne Howard, Allisha Gray, Chennedy Carter, Satou Sabally, Tina Charles, Caitlin Clark, Natasha Howard

Upcoming Objectives:

  • Tomorrow, Rebounds & Assists will be the objectives and there will be two (2) teams in action.

  • After today:

    • Three Times: Rebounds (REB), Three Pointers Made (3PM)

    • Twice: Points Scored (PTS), Field Goals Made (FGM), Assists (AST)

    • Once: Points in the Paint (PIP), Offensive Rebounds (OREB), Blocks (BLK), Assists minus Turnovers (AST-TO), Steals (STL), Free Throws Made (FTM)

Considerations:

  • There are two (2) days where only two (2) teams are in action (Day 2 & 6)

  • There are three (3) days where ten (10) teams are in action (Day 3, 7, & 9)

  • There are two (2) days where every team (12) will be in action (Day 8 & 10)

  • The always elusive Assists minus Turnovers is an objective on Day 7

  • Phoenix has the least number of games during this run (5)

  • Some playoff teams may opt to rest their players in the final game or two

  • Between September 13-19, there will be games every other day
