WNBA Fast Break Playoff Semifinals | Day 1

Pick 5 Players who will combine for 25 Rebounds and 60 Points Scored to earn your win.

Overview:

Today kicks off the next WNBA Fast Break, which coincides with WNBA Playoff Semifinals. The previous round was best-of-three whereas the semifinals are a best-of-five, which utilizes a traditional 2-2-1 format. Also contrary to the previous iteration of WNBA Fast Break, the daily and run-based rewards which rewards participants with top 100 quick rip packs and run-based rewards including Holo Icon packs for the top 3 finishers.

The WNBA Fast Break Playoff Semifinals will also require more strategy. Do you aim for the three (3) wins and use your best players available, do you save your players to maximize your odds for the daily reward, or do you spread out your players based on day (using Witty’s Cheat Sheet) to increase your chances of placing for the run-based rewards? There’s no right answer and will depend on your collection and the duration of this playoff round (schedule below):

  • Sunday, September 29: all four (4) matchups will tip off for Game 1

  • Tuesday, October 1: all four (4) games are scheduled

  • Friday, October 4: all four (4) games are scheduled

  • Sunday, October 6: if necessary

  • Tuesday, October 8: if necessary

Playoff Matchups:

  • Las Vegas (4) @ New York (1)

  • Connecticut (3) @ Minnesota (2)

Today’s Objective:

Fast Break Day 1 requires five (5) players who will accumulate 25 or more Rebounds and score 60 or more Points, which means your lineup will need an average of 5.0 REB and 12.0 PTS per player. Although these two stats are not connected, there are many players who are proficient in both stat categories.

  • Little of Both: A'ja Wilson, Napheesa Collier, Breanna Stewart, Jonquel Jones, DeWanna Bonner

  • Rebounders: A'ja Wilson, Napheesa Collier, Jonquel Jones, Alyssa Thomas, Breanna Stewart, DeWanna Bonner, Alanna Smith

  • Scorers: A'ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart, Napheesa Collier, Sabrina Ionescu, Marina Mabrey, Kelsey Plum, Jonquel Jones, DeWanna Bonner

Overall rank is based on projections, season averages, and ranks amongst peers for each objective. Omission of certain players would be based on injuries at the time of data pull and/or no moments available.
