Overview:

Fast Break Day 5 saw plenty of fireworks as many players either lived up to their projections or outperformed to help the lineups in which they were included. In total, there were over 3,100 participants who walked away with a victory. Sabonis achieved a triple-double in the Kings-Lakers matchup and delivered 28 total points for Fast Break (10 AST, 18 PIP) whereas Zubac chipped in 26 (4 AST, 22 PIP) & Harden’s 16 Assist extravaganza helped also (along with 6 PIP).

There are seven days remaining in this Fast Break run (including today), which is about where things get a bit tight based on who you’ve used already and whether you’ve planned ahead. Trae Young, for example, is going to be a popular pick today for his ability to draw the foul and his steal projections. SGA, though, is projected to deliver higher stats for both categories, but he may not be available in most lineups if he’s already been used.

With each passing day, more participants join the run which brings the total number to 7,400. Inevitably, the number of participants will rise to 10,000+ this season. The question though is how long it’ll take. As for Run 1, there are 57 participants with a perfect record thus far, which means 4 wins still gives you a shot at the top 500 rewards. So long as you have at least two (2) wins, you still have a chance at the top reward pack which requires nine wins.

Fast Break Day 6 requires five (5) players who will sink 15 or more Free Throws and swipe 3 or more Steals, which means your lineup will need an average of 3.0 FTM and 0.6 STL per player. There are twenty (20) teams are in action, so you have a large pool of players to choose from - many of whom will deliver you both objectives.

Between the two, free throws are the priority based on volume, but at least have a player or two who have the capability to stealing the ball. Let’s dive into the projections to see who you should consider for your lineup today.
