NBA Fast Break Run 1 | Day 10

Pick 5 Players who will combine for 5 Blocks and 30 Field Goals Made to earn your win.

Overview:

First off, Happy Halloween to all of you who celebrate it. If not, then Happy October 31st and Day 10 of Fast Break Run 1.

There are only three days remaining in Fast Break Run 1 and you’ll need at least six (6) wins to have a chance at the top reward. Also keep in mind that the top 500 overall will earn varying amounts of credit that can be used to buy any Dapper collectibles, which includes secondary markets like flowty.io. Of the over 8,100 participants, over 62% earned a win yesterday which marks the 4th of 9 days where there was a greater than 60% success rate. For many who are pursuing the 6 or 9 win packs, that amount of success will be welcome for the remaining three days. Speaking of success, let’s discuss today’s stat categories: blocks and field goals made.

Between the two objectives today, blocks are the more unpredictable of the two, but you’ll need to balance your lineup with players who get buckets. If you have a Wemby moment, he has the capability to get you 3+ blocks and field goals. For everyone else, Brook Lopez and Walker Kessler will be popular picks are they are projected to have 2.0+ blocks, but their field goals are below your ideal threshold. On the other hand, Ivica Zubac has been having a stellar start to the season but struggled against Portland yesterday (registered 2 field goals & 2 blocks). Scroll further to dive into the data.

Today’s Objective(s):

Fast Break Day 10 requires five (5) players who will accumulate 5 or more Blocks and make 30 or more Field Goals, which means your lineup will need an average of 1.0 BLK and 6.0 FGM per player. There are only eight (8) teams in action, so your options are more limited than they will be for Day 11 or 12. These two stats are not usually correlated, but there are players who have a historical tendency to deliver both. Without further ado, let’s dive into the stats.

  • Little of Both: Victor Wembanyama, Kevin Durant, Jaren Jackson, Ivica Zubac

  • Rim Protectors: Victor Wembanyama, Walker Kessler, Brook Lopez, Ivica Zubac, Daniel Gafford, Dereck Lively, Zach Edey

  • Walking Buckets: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Doncic, Kevin Durant, Victor Wembanyama, Devin Booker, Kyrie Irving, Ivica Zubac

  • Top Five (5) in Lineups: B. Lopez (75%), K. Durant (61%), J. Jackson (49%), I. Zubac (35%), G. Antetokounmpo (31%)

Upcoming Objective(s):

  • Tomorrow, there will only be 18 teams in action and the objective will require 25 FTM & 40 REB

  • Remaining objectives (after today): REB, FTM, PTS

Considerations:

  • Fourteen (14) teams with one (1) game remaining

  • Sixteen (16) teams with two (2) games remaining; nine (9) of whom are playing back-to-backs on Day 11 & 12

  • Today is Dallas’s last game for Fast Break Run 1

  • Day 11 has 18 teams in action & Day 12 has 20 teams in action

Statistical Approach:

Top players in projected Blocks & Field Goals Made according to Rotowire, which is available in the table(s) below. • Daily Reward: Top 50 each day will receive a pack

  • Milestone Reward: Reach 3, 6, or 9 wins and each tier earns you a pack

  • Run Reward: Place in the top 500 overall
