Overview:
We are one day closer to the end of WNBA Fast Break Run 8 and there are over 2,700 total participants, which matches the last run. There is a chance the number of participants reaches the all-time high if it exceeds 2,800 which is exciting considering where it was at the beginning. I’m an optimist, so I believe there will come a day (hopefully soon) where the number of NBA & WNBA Fast Break participants doubles in number.
One of the many great things about Fast Break, which isn’t common in fantasy sports, is the ability to earn rewards at multiple levels - overall (top 10), daily (top 50), & individually (win-based packs). This formula could be the driving force to broader adoption or at the bare minimum, keeping the community engaged - both equally important. Speaking of community, 17 participants have reached the 7-win mark and have earned all three packs. With three days to go including today, there are a little over 100 more who are one win away and there are hundreds more who are two wins away.
Today’s Objective:
Fast Break Day 8 requires five (5) players who will accumulate 35 or more Rebounds and 20 or distribute more Assists, which means your lineup will need an average of 7.0 REB and 4.0 AST per player. Considering there are eight (8) teams in action today, you won’t be light on options, but your lineup limitations will vary based on how well you planned ahead and who you have remaining.
