WNBA Run 7 | Day 5

Pick 5 Players who will combine for 30 Points in the Paint and 10 Offensive Rebounds to earn your win.

Overview:

There are close to 2,400 participants in this Fast Break run, which is line with expectation based on the previous series. On Day 4 about 1,700 participants set a lineup, but only two walked away victorious. With ten teams in action today and considering the reasonable objectives, we should see a high volume of winners which will be a welcome change relative to yesterday. Be weary of Day 6 though as only two teams are in action.

Today’s Objective:

Fast Break Day 5 requires five (5) players who will score 30 or more points in the paint and accumulate 10 or more offensive rebounds, which means your lineup will need an average of 6.0 Points in the Paint and 2.0 Offensive Rebounds per player. As there are ten (10) teams in action today, so you will not be short on options. Take the opportunity to review the lineups you have set for the remainder of this run and see who you can slot into today’s lineup who will have a meaningful chance at a win.

Points in the Paint and Offensive Rebounds are often correlated, so you will have multiple options who can exceed the necessary thresholds. Between the two stats, OREB will be the one that could trip up many lineups. Refer to the tables below for greater detail on player projections & season averages.

Following the end of this run, there will be a month-long hiatus due to the WNBA All-Star Game & the Olympics in Paris. The former takes place on July 20th, 2024 and the latter takes place between July 26-August 11th, 2024.

Looking Ahead:

  • Day 6 will be the next precarious day as there are only two teams in action (Chicago & New York) where you will need Assists & Three Pointers Made.

  • Day 8 will likely be challenging as it requires the often elusive Assists minus Turnovers objective.

  • After today, Connecticut, Dallas, & Los Angeles will have two more games this series. Every other team has three more games.

  • After today, points & 3PM will be an objective twice more; assists, rebounds, assists minus turnovers, steals, and field goals made will be an objective one time during this run.
