Fast Break Run 9 | Day 3

Pick 5 Players who will combine for 30 Points in the Paint and 15 Assists minus Turnovers to earn your win.

Overview:

After Day 2 of WNBA Fast Break, which saw 70% of the participants walk away with a win, there are close to 2,300 participants in this run. There are seven (7) game days remaining with two (2) days where no games are scheduled (the first being tomorrow). With 40 games in a WNBA Season, each team has about 10 games remaining which means there is likely one more run before the playoffs begin. If you’re unfamiliar with WNBA, the top 8 teams overall make the playoffs regardless of conference. As of today, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are in the 7th spot at 14-16. Chicago sits 2.5 games back at 11-18 in the final playoff spot, but Atlanta (10-19), Washington (8-22), and Dallas (8-22) are nipping at their heels.

If you’re planning to participate in the Arcade Pack Trade Ticket drop today, it kicks off at 4:00PM ET | 8:00PM UTC and requires 15 Trade Tickets. You also have an opportunity to complete the challenge to burn 15 moments to assure you receive an Arcade Pack. This burn challenge can be repeated multiple times until 3,000 packs are claimed (or when the timer runs out).

It should be an exciting push to the finish of the WNBA Season, an interesting pack drop, and volatile day of Fast Break.

Today’s Objective:

Fast Break Day 3 requires five (5) players who will score 30 or more Points in the Paint and accumulate 15 or more Assists minus Turnovers, which means your lineup will need an average of 6.0 PiP and 3.0 AST-T/O per player. With ten (10) teams in action, your options are broad, but the unpredictable Assists minus Turnovers will be challenging to say the least. Points in the Paint is the easier of the two so your focus should shift more toward the other objective to achieve today’s target.

  • Little of Both: Alyssa Thomas, Skylar Diggins-Smith

  • Inside Scorers: Britney Griner, Napheesa Collier, Tina Charles, Brionna Jones, Angel Reese, Breanna Stewart, Aliyah Boston, Dearica Hamby, Kahleah Copper, Nneke Ogwumike, Brittany Sykes, Kamilla Cardoso, Alyssa Thomas, Rickea Jackson, Jonquel Jones

  • Distributes & Protects: Alyssa Thomas, Skylar Diggins-Smith, Natasha Cloud, Caitlin Clark, Lindsay Allen, Courtney Vandersloot, Jordin Canada

Upcoming Objectives:

  • Tomorrow, there are no scheduled games. The day after, Offensive Rebounds & Blocks will be the objectives and there will be eight teams in action.

  • After today:

    • Twice: Points Scored (PTS), Assists (AST), Rebounds (REB)

    • Once: Offensive Rebounds (OREB), Blocks (BLK), Field Goals Made (FGM), Free Throws Made (FTM), Three Pointers Made (3PM)

Considerations:

  • There are two days remaining where only two teams are in action (5 & 8)

  • Connecticut plays three days in a row (Day 5-7) including one where they are one of two teams in action

  • Day 6 requires 100 Points Scored (only 5 players in action have averaged 20.0 points this season)

  • Dallas, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Minnesota & New York have the least number of games this series (3)

  • Seattle has the most games remaining (5) and will play them over the remaining seven days

  • Every other team has four (4) games remaining
