Fast Break Run 9 | Day 2

Pick 5 Players who will combine for 25 Rebounds and 5 Three Pointers Made to earn your win.

Overview:

Day 1 of WNBA Fast Break saw 2,000 participants set a lineup with over 60% walking away with a win. In addition to today’s WNBA single game, the buzz around NBA TopShot are the $5 Arcade Packs that are dropping at 3:00PM ET | 7:00PM UTC which will include highly coveted grail moments like Wemby’s Hardware Legendary, Kevin Durant’s Legendary Rookie, Joker’s Legendary Finals, Devin Booker’s Cosmic TopShot Debut, Luka Doncic’s Rookie RIB, Steph Curry’s MSFE record breaker, and more. What else are in these packs? How many will be available? Many questions surround this drop, but it is intriguing to say the least.

While we wait for more details to emerge around the drop details, the trade-in options, and more, we can focus our attention on earning a win today.

Today’s Objective:

Fast Break Day 2 requires five (5) players who will accumulate 25 or more Rebounds and drain 5 or more Three Pointers, which means your lineup will need an average of 5.0 REB and 1.0 3PM per player. With only two teams in action (first of three occurrences), your options are limited which will have downstream impacts to the rest of your run. Considering these two stats aren’t often correlated, you’ll have your work cut out for you.

  • Little of Both: Satou Sabally

  • Rebounders: A’ja Wilson, Natasha Howard, Teaira McCowan, Arike Ogunbowale, Jackie Young

  • Outside Shooters: Arike Ogunbowale, Kelsey Plum, Jackie Young, Chelsea Gray, Alysha Clark, Tiffany Hayes

Upcoming Objectives:

  • Tomorrow, the always unpredictable Points in the Paint & Assists minus Turnovers will be the objectives and there will be ten teams in action.

  • After today:

    • Twice: Points Scored (PTS), Assists (AST), Rebounds (REB)

    • Once: Points in the Paint (PiP), Offensive Rebounds (OREB), Blocks (BLK), Field Goals Made (FGM), Free Throws Made (FTM), Assists minus Turnovers (AST-TO), Three Pointers Made (3PM)

Considerations:

  • There are three days where only two teams are in action (Day 2, 5 & 8)

  • Day 3 requires Points in the Paint & Assists minus Turnovers, which is always volatile

  • Connecticut plays three days in a row (Day 5-7) including one where they are one of two teams in action

  • Day 6 requires 100 Points Scored (only 5 players in action have averaged 20.0 points this season)

  • Minnesota, Los Angeles, & New York only have the least number of games this series (3)

  • Seattle has the most games remaining (5) and will play them over a seven day period

  • Every other team has four (4) games remaining
