NBA Fast Break Run 2 | Day 11

Pick 5 Players who will combine for 15 Assists and 25 Field Goals Made to earn your win.

Overview:

There were eye-catching performances all across the NBA yesterday including Giannis’s 59 points scored, Wemby’s 50 points, and KAT’s 46 points. It felt like everyone was feeling good with their shot…a day after the 130 point objective where usually reliable players came up short. With only 30% of lineups earning a win, the trend of this run continues where wins are a premium and only 7 wins are currently needed to be in the top 200.

As we are down to the final two days of Fast Break Run 2, the final two perfect records (one was a casualty of Day 10) are vying for the top reward of two tickets to an NBA game which includes airfare and accommodations. Should they both falter, there are multiple participants waiting for the opportunity to sneak into that top spot. For now, Jetski18 & prudcck have the inside track.

Of the top five players utilized, DeMar DeRozan left the game due to lower back tightness and SGA only had 3 fouls drawn and 2 free throws made, which likely led to the low win percentage on Day 10. Sengun was the 6th most utilized player and although he had a decent statistical day (double-double), he drew no fouls and made no free throws. Ouch. If, however, you had Giannis in your lineup, he covered half of the fouls drawn and 64% of the free throws you needed. If you were one of the 30% who won, chances are you had Giannis in your lineup.

If you have seven (7) wins, you still have a chance at the top pack reward. If you have at least four (4) wins, you have a chance at the mid-tier pack. Even if you’re at six (6) wins, you could sneak into the top 200 for an overall reward based on how others fare over the next two days. Based on how things have been going this run and the shrinking pool of available players, you should continue setting lineups even if you don’t feel like you have anything to pursue. Let’s start with the best options for today.

Today’s Objective(s):

Fast Break Day 11 requires five (5) players who will distribute 15 or more Assists & make 25 or more Field Goals, which means your lineup will need an average of 3.0 AST & 5.0 FGM per player. There are a handful of players who can get you both stat lines, which you’ll need considering the single game that’s on the slate today.

  • Little of Both: Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving

  • Distributors: Luka Doncic, Keyonte George, Kyrie Irving, Collin Sexton, Jordan Clarkson

  • Scorers: Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, Lauri Markkanen

  • Top Five (5) Players in Lineups: C. Sexton (72%), J. Clarkson (65%), K. Irving (56%), L. Markkanen (52%), K. Thompson (51%)

Upcoming Objective(s):

  • Tomorrow, 15 3PM & 25 3PA are needed with 24 teams in actions

Considerations:

  • Boston, Charlotte, Milwaukee, & Portland have no more games remaining

  • Today is Dallas & Utah’s final game this run

Looking Ahead (to Run 3):

  • 12 Day Run (again)

  • Objectives:

    • 3x: AST, 3PM, PTS

    • 2x: REB

Statistical Approach:

Top players in projected Assists & Field Goals Made according to Rotowire, which is available in the table(s) below. Overall rank is based on daily projections, last 10 games, and rest of season projections, which stack ranked amongst peers for each objective. Although 10 games have not been played, all teams have played between 8-11 games so the sample size is relevant. As the season progresses, true Last 10 will be incorporated. For tome+ subscribers, projected rest-of-season stats are also provided. Omission of certain players would be based on injuries at the time of data pull.

Rewards:

  • Daily Reward: Top 50 each day will receive a pack

  • Milestone Reward: Reach 3, 6, or 9 wins and each tier earns you a pack

  • Run Reward: Place in the top 200 overall

    • Rank 1: Two (2) tickets to an NBA game including airfare and hotel

    • Rank 2-200: Spendable credit at varying values

Day 9 ended with a loss, which is our second of this run. We have two days remaining to earn a win to earn the top pack.
