Fast Break Run 8 | Day 1
Pick 5 Players who will combine for 80 Points Scored to earn your win.
Overview:
Today marks Day 1 of the next WNBA Fast Break run and it will span ten (10) game days. Although there is one less day during this series, the objective thresholds have remained the same (1, 4, & 7), but the daily rewards have increased by 100%. Instead of the top 25, the top 50 will earn a quick rip pack. The high watermark in terms of participants was over 2,700 (which lags behind their NBA counterpart) and it will likely start slow with the long hiatus, so take advantage of the opportunity to maximize your rewards.
If you’re reading this, you’ve likely followed along with our daily Fast Break articles and found some value from the content. We want to take a brief moment to thank you for your patronage and reiterate that we aim to continue to deliver what you’ve come to expect - and more.
Introducing, TOME+:
The daily Fast Break articles will continue with minimal changes, but an additional paid option will be available if you would like access to sortable tables in the daily articles (vs. static images) based on each day’s objective, Witty’s Cheat Sheet, and access to a dedicated Fast Break league with additional prizes (beginning Run 9). This offering will continue to expand based on community requests (ex: full season stats for all players in a sortable table (coming soon)) in order to add value to your membership to TOME+. Membership duration will be tracked also with potential future perks and benefits, but will be dependent upon a variety of factors. Said differently, we have many plans and ideas we’d like to activate upon as we want your patronage to be worth your while, but we cannot make any promises or guarantees. One promise we can make though, is that revenues and gifted moments will be reinvested back into the growth of the Tome Society platform. If you’re so inclined, you can join here.

Today’s Objective:
Fast Break Day 1 requires five (5) players who will score 80 or more Points, which means your lineup will need an average of 16.0 points scored per player. There are six (6) teams in action today and there’s a single objective, so your options are broad.
Looking Ahead:
Tomorrow, Points in the Paint and Offensive Rebounds will be the objectives and there will be six teams in action.
Remaining objectives after today:
Twice: Three Pointers Made (3PM), Assists (AST), Rebounds (REB), Field Goals Made (FGM), Free Throws Made (FTM)
Once: Points in the Paint (PiP), Offensive Rebounds (OREB), Blocks (BLK), Field Goals Attempted (FGA)
Plan Ahead:
Day 6-10 Stretch: Four of the last five games will have 4 or less teams in action
Day 7: Only two teams are in action (Dallas & New York)
Los Angeles: They play six games over ten days, including three in a row between Day 3-5
One Less Day than Run 7: the top prize requires 7 wins, which mirrors Run 7, but there is one less day so your room for error is smaller
Statistical Approach:
Top 20 players in projected Points Scored according to Rotowire, which is available in the table below. The players highlighted in pink do not yet have any moments.
Rewards:
Daily Reward: Top 50 each day will receive a Quick Rip pack (previously it was top 25)
Milestone Reward: Reach 1, 4, or 7 wins and each tier earns you a pack
Run Reward: Place in the top 10 and earn a WNBA Metallic Gold LE pack
