Fast Break Run 8 | Day 3
Pick 5 Players who will combine for 80 Points Scored to earn your win.
Overview:
We’ve reached Day 3 and there’s over 2,300 participants through two days of this run. There are eight game days remaining and we’re quickly approaching the tough back end stretch of this run where four of the last five days will have four or less teams in action. Said differently, you will want to be deliberate and strategic in how you use your remaining players if you have not done so already. Otherwise your chances at 7 wins will shrink considerably. If you are someone with mostly or all commons/fandom, you’ll likely need to pick your spots as you won’t be able to participate in each game day.
Today’s Objective:
Fast Break Day 3 requires five (5) players who will score 80 or more Points, which means your lineup will need an average of 16.0 points scored per player. There are six (6) teams in action today and we’re back to a single objective. Of the teams in action, only seven (7) players are projected to crest the average threshold needed to achieve today’s target. Having someone like A’ja Wilson in your lineup will help buffer the downside as she’s projected to score 23+ points and has averaged over 27 points per game this season. It is worth noting that there are four teams in action on Day 6 which requires FGM/FGA, so A’ja will also be the top option.
Top options today:
A’ja Wilson, Chennedy Carter (did not play on Day 1), Sabrina Ionescu, Dearica Hamby, Breanna Stewart, Kelsey Plum, Kayla McBride
Upcoming Objectives:
Tomorrow, Points in the Paint and Offensive Rebounds will be the objectives and there will be six teams in action.
Remaining objectives after today:
Twice: Three Pointers Made (3PM), Assists (AST), Rebounds (REB), Field Goals Made (FGM), Free Throws Made (FTM)
Once: Points in the Paint (PiP), Offensive Rebounds (OREB), Blocks (BLK), Field Goals Attempted (FGA)
Considerations:
Los Angeles & Las Vegas have five (5) games remaining (including today)
Los Angeles begins their 3 straight games today
Indiana & Seattle only have two (2) games remaining
Seattle plays a back-to-back and will have their last game of this run on August 20th (Day 5)
Day 6-10 Stretch: Four of the last five games will have 4 or less teams in action
Day 7: Only two teams are in action (Dallas & New York)
